BUY/SELL Alert emailed to you the moment after The Greedy Farmer completes a transaction. All orders will reflect what the Greedy Farmer completed in his own portfolio, on a percentage basis.
GFI model portfolios (two)
Portfolio Performance updated weekly
Portfolio Composition updated quarterly
Simply follow the BUY/SELL Alert Updates such as the example below. These will be issued by email and will be uploaded to the Member Area

Communication Expectations

Greedy Farmer communications will generally be conducted through the website and email alerts. Individual inquiries can also be completed by email. The Greedy Farmer will not communicate by Facebook, by messaging, texting or other. Email responses will be limited to issues related to the construction of my portfolio and my asset allocation (I am not in a position to advise you on your specific portfolio) and to general topics rather than company specific fundamentals. I will not answer questions related to technical stock analysis. Email questions will be answered weekly, in most cases. If the email volume from any one person is too extensive or the topics too complex, the issues will be answered as effectively as practical and potentially supplemented with a Deep Thought article issued to all subscribers.

How do you get started?

Open a discount brokerage account at a financial institution
Subscribe to Greedy Farmer Investing
Determine what funds you have available for investing
Divide this portfolio amount into 6-12 portions minimum, to start - read RISK tab for more discussion
Start buying when BUY recommendations are issued
Read the information provided under the risk tab where it is emphasized you TAKE YOUR TIME

What does a BUY/SELL Alert and a BUY/SELL Alert Update look like?

My model portfolios are both based on $1,000,000.00. It’s unlikely you want purchases of less than $1,000.00 per holding so if your starting portfolio is $10,000.00, keep in mind you are limiting yourself to 10 purchases or less, to get started. I’m suggesting $1,000.00 per holding since many discount brokerage firms charge $9.99 per trade which is equivalent to about 1% of $1,000.00. If you choose to hold a mutual fund, as one or more of your holdings, the minimum purchase is generally $5,000.00 per fund.

[Note: I often hold one or two Mawer Mutual funds for global and/or international equity exposure. They are best-in-class money managers. As noted, initial purchase requirement is $5,000.00 for purchases of their funds. [Exchanged Traded Funds (ETFs) do provide more flexibility here, as there is no minimum purchase.]
